Is it expensive? Is it really worth the money and investment?
Some see personal training as a luxury, but if you are looking for results, it is the only way to go. Having a personal trainer has shown to be most effective in keeping people motivated and sustaining interest in truly reaching their goals. Personal training is also well regarded for achieving noticeable and positive changes fast.
Will it hurt?
We hope not! You can expect some soreness, which is always a positive indicator that there is change taking place in your body. But pain, in Mo’s philosophy, is a bad thing, and often a sign of overworking or not taking note of a potential muscular imbalance. She takes "pain" very seriously and encourages clients to communicate regarding "pain", so we can find the source.
Where do you do your personal training?
I have a personal training studio, Fitness Authority, based in Costa Mesa, California, But if you prefer, I can meet you at your home, a facility in your complex or even in a park.
Do you work with groups?
I work one on one, with small groups and with semi-private personal training in the gym.
How often will I need to see you for personal training?
I typically recommend an hour of training at least twice a week, particularly for the first three months. After that point, most of many clients stick with twice a week, while some switch to three times and others once a week. The choice is yours, as we continue to maintain your personal progress.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are one hour, including a regimen of balance, strength, stretching and cardiovascular work… or whatever suits your needs and personal goals.
What hours are you available?
I work by appointment, first come first serve! I start as early as 5 a.m. and work steadily through my final appointment of the day at 7 p.m.
What is the cost of sessions?
My prices vary according to the location and time of your requested workout. Semi-private sessions can be purchased for as low as $40/hour, one on one for as low as $68/hour and in-home rates as low as $60/45 minutes.
Why should I hire you as my personal trainer?
In the 15 years I have been involved in professional personal training, I’ve learned that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all workout! After our initial consultation, I will provide a movement evaluation with you and find out what your goals are. I then custom tailor your workout to your needs. And I promise to keep you laughing throughout your sessions!
